Jill Alexander is an actor, writer, and improviser.

She is currently working with Shonda Rhimes to develop her half-hour dark comedy SUNSHINE SCOUTS into a series for Netflix. Jill serves as creator, writer, and Co-EP.

As an actor, she recurs as “Patrice” in Mike Judge’s acclaimed HBO series Silicon Valley. She also played Peggy’s secretary “Marsha” in the final season of Mad Men. Other recent notable TV: Modern Family, New Girl, American Housewife, Angie Tribeca, American Horror StoryDr. Ken, and Aquarius. She regularly pops up in sketches on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Jill is an accomplished improviser: she’s a Groundlings Sunday Company alumna and an original member of IOWest’s long-running mainstage show Trophy Wife (named by New York Magazine as “the improv team to watch!”) Jill graduated from Northwestern University where she majored in Performance Studies.

She is a die hard Die Hard enthusiast.
